Founded by students in Michigan, our mission is to make meaningful math opportunities accessible to younger learners across southeastern Michigan.

Our Mission
At the Motor City Math Challenge, we believe in the power of math to inspire curiosity and shape future problem solvers. We aim to build a stronger math community in South-Eastern Michigan, expand access to math competitions, and introduce younger students to problem-solving. Through our bi-annual math competition, the Motor City Math Challenge, review sessions, and problem-solving classes, we aspire to create a space where everyone can foster a love for mathematics.
